Continuous research and development
At the heart of ZNodal technology is a never-ending quest to go further and do more. Our team continues to refine and enhance our processing and computing capabilities—from advanced algorithms to sophisticated software—to bring clients the most accurate seismic imaging possible, quickly and reliably.
Open-minded processing experts
Although we’re partial to the unique advantages our nodal data affords, we’re thoroughly equipped to process more traditional seismic data as well. Experts at each of our worldwide supercluster computer centers are attuned to the specific needs of local clients, whether it’s our data or yours, and whether it’s nodal, streamer or conventional.
Our history
FairfieldNodal began our first 2D transition zone program in Louisiana in 1976. We introduced our first non-exclusive 3D survey in 1989, and since then, we’ve granted licenses to more than 125 exploration and production companies operating across the Gulf of Mexico shallow water and transition zone areas. We acquire all data using one-of-a-kind cable-free seismic recording systems designed and built at our own manufacturing facility near Houston.
