Navigator – (Shift Leader/Operator)
Job Summary:
Perform daily navigation and data acquisition functions on offshore vessels. The navigator plans the shooting schedule and is responsible for vessel and all in sea equipment positioning. The ability to understand the client's requirements is essential to a successful job. A background in math and the ability to utilize operating systems like Linux, Unix, and Windows is required. A navigator holds a standard 12 hour watch onboard the vessel and overseas all navigation equipment and data acquisition in addition to maintaining detailed logs. The navigator is responsible for adhering to all QHSE policies and to ensuring the junior navigators are properly trained and following the QHSE policies too.
Essential Job Functions:
- 2 years' work experience or the ability to demonstrate necessary skills.

The positions will be working in the Area Geophysicist department of the Data Processing Division.
