Hurricane Katrina Relief
FairfieldNodal and our employees worked to provide assistance for those impacted by Hurricane Katrina. Many people were displaced to the Houston area, and the tenants in the FairfieldNodal headquarters building partnered with the Second Mile Mission Center, which accepted donations for the evacuees from clothing to food. Second Mile (a non-profit charitable organization) administered this process with their services without charge. http://www.secondmile.org
FairfieldNodal employees, some of whom were hosting our own displaced family members, assisted with monetary and in-kind donations. We made several deliveries of clothing and other direct supplies, and FairfieldNodal matched all employee monetary contributions, for a combined total of over $35,000.
