Breakthrough in the shallow Gulf of Mexico: Davy Jones discovery

Quick, get a good look at the data they used!

The major, new ultra-deep discovery at the Davy Jones prospect changes everything. Now is the time to take a closer look.

FairfieldNodal has reprocessed our extensive library of 20,000- and 30,000-foot offset 3D data covering South Marsh Island block 230, the area of discovery. In fact, the Davy Jones well was located and drilled based on our time and depth data.

Curved ray prestack time migration (PSTM) and Kirchhoff prestack depth migration (PSDM) data is now available to define the Wilcox Eocene/Paleocene section and provide a newer look at the geology below 20,000 feet.

Get ready for what promises to be the next great exploration era in the shallow water Gulf of Mexico. For more information about our 3D seismic library, processing and acquisition capabilities, contact your FairfieldNodal representative, or call 281-275-7500.
