Fairfield Industries debuts new interactive display system at SEG 2009
Houston, Texas, October, 2009 – Fairfield Industries introduced new interactive display units at the 2009 SEG Convention held at George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas on October 25th to 28th.
These touchscreen units are designed for the interactive display of informative text, graphics, seismic data, and full motion video. They allow the user to choose the information displayed by means of an intuitive touch screen menu system. Information on all facets of Fairfield Industries' operations, from seismic systems manufacturing, through data acquisition and data processing, to non-exclusive data licensing, was easily available to interested convention attendees. Unlike traditional display methods, a virtually unlimited amount of data can be browsed by the user.
Initial reaction to the new displays was very positive, with many people exploring the available information. Fairfield Industries intends to continue to develop the systems to increase the amount and quality of information that will be provided in the future.
