EarthQuake recorded with ZLand® Nodal System
On May 13th, 2011 at 9:19 local time, a magnitude 2.5 earthquake occurred about 6 miles below the city of Carson California. This earthquake was recorded on NodalSeismic's high density ZLand seismic array in Long Beach, California. The above time lapse movie shows the resulting ground motion as it moves across the Long Beach seismic array which consisted of 5,300 stations nominally spaced about 330 feet apart.
